Our DAE student Joëlle Linden got an special award for her interpretation of the traditional Turkish shepherd’s outfit. Fioen van Balgooi, member of the jury, stated: “Kepenek-wolf in sheep’s clothing of Joëlle is a beautiful inspiration, an old tradition with a modern twist.”
The jury consisted of: Elsien Gringhuis, Ingrid Oomen (Woolmarkt) and Ellen Sillikens (Modebewust.nu).
The winner of the Warm Sweaterday Design Competition was revealed during the final presentation at Maison de Bonneterie in Amsterdam last Friday. Tainá Christina Maraschini won the first prize with her project “Cocoon”.
