The readership in Strategic Creativity is headed by dr. Bas Raijmakers PhD (RCA) as lector (UK: Reader, US: Professor) and drs. Danielle Arets as associate lector. During the 4 year CRISP programme, 11 Research Associates will each take up a one-year research position in the Strategic Creativity readership. These Research Associate positions are open to Design Academy alumni only, who will collaborate with departments in the academy as well as CRISP partners from academia and industry.
Dissemination
The outcomes of the CRISP programme will be used within the educational programme of the Design Academy and participating universities, but also be disseminated through public debates, conferences and workshops. Because the process of developing new knowledge strategies is interesting in itself, this online blog will frequently publish interesting outcomes. You can subscribe to our RSS feeds if you want to stay up to date with what we are doing.
A boost for the Dutch creative economy
The CRISP programme as a whole has a total budget of 20 million Euros in 4 years, financed by the Dutch government and the participating institutions and companies. It is highly ambitious in creating new bridges between the creative industries and the Dutch economy. The ultimate goal of CRISP is to make the economy of the Netherlands more creative with a strategic role for design!
