Strategic Creativity in Service Innovation

At the lectoraat (UK: Readership, US: Professorship) in Strategic Creativity we explore how design and creativity can play a strategic role in society and the economy in general, and in service innovation in particular. We do this with a 'thinking through making' approach where design and reflection go hand in hand.


This Readership is a proud partner in CRISP, a Dutch national research programme in which Design Academy Eindhoven co-operates with the Technical Universities of Delft, Eindhoven and Twente, both Universities of Amsterdam and 60 companies and organisations in the creative industries or service delivery.

Sneak preview CRISP #4 Magazine

CRISP #4 Magazine is about design for well-being.

It wil be launched at the Design and Emotion Conference in Bogota Colombia 6 October.

On 23 October we will present CRISP #4 Magazine to the CRISP project members in the morning and to the creative audience of the CRISP Lecture Roulette in the afternoon.

Design Review Sessions 7: Design Research for Well-being

“In just a few years time, Alice will take over the majority of our nursing activities,” states Johan Hoorn, mental father of the caredroid (care robot) based upon Hanson’s Robot Alice.
