Karianne Rygh is a Norwegian born Industrial designer who has lived and worked in Scandinavia, Mexico and Australia. Karianne graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2012, with the Master thesis project ‘Choice Within the Making’, a design manual for furniture-making in prison, where the production of furniture becomes an informal tool for fostering reflective thinking among inmates. With a belief that change begins with triggering new understandings and new behaviors, Karianne takes a systematic and interdisciplinary approach to exploring encounters between people and design.
Karianne Rygh is a Research Associate in the PSS 101 programme within CRISP. In the PSS 101 project she aims to empower stakeholders to collaborate in networks in order to provide better Product Service Systems to people with more clear, visualised insights in the value that is created through their network.
