Forum is the Compass direction which places design and the profession of designing in a cultural and social context. Which social and cultural developments have an impact on the things designers make and do?

Forum enables designersto carry out their profession with an understanding of context and teaches them to base their approach on research and reflection. Forum considers it its most important task to understand and explain the times we live in; to determine the position of design and the role of the designer in our culture and society. Forum students mostly tend to work in process guidance, strategy development and scenario writing rather than actually designing products. They work in a very extensive field and can be of use wherever a creative mind is needed.
