The Bachelor’s course can be completed in four years, during which students take part in a wide variety of activities: lectures and tutorials, group discussions, hands-on projects in association with external sponsors, and workshops. They also visit exhibitions and attend conferences. There are group outings, while some students travel further afield to gain international experience abroad.
The academy provides the opportunities and the staff are there to guide you, but you determine the exact form of your course. While the content and focus of individual classes will vary, there is a basic overall structure in which students and staff join in exploring the design process in all its many aspects, both in theory and in practice. Much of the time will be spent working in groups, but the focus is on the individual development and growth of every student.
