Fundamentals Year 3

In year 3 Design, Production and Contextual Studies come together in a joint programme. 

What will you learn?

You work on a project from your earlier years at DAE that represents the field of design you want to explore further. This project forms the thread throughout the semester, during which you reflect on your professionalisation and identity as a designer, and learn how to position yourself in the professional field. External experts contribute input on positioning, communication, presenting and the business side of your work. You translate your research, methods and materialisation for an outside audience.  

Your research trajectory results in a presentation of your materialisation, in which the input on positioning and entrepreneurship from the lessons is translated. You will receive input on the following pillars: :

• Person (Personal Pillar)
• People (Context Pillar)
• Present (Connection Pillar)
• Paperwork (Action Pillar)
