The Garden
Emerging from a desire to reintroduce magic into the everyday, ‘The Garden’ is a series of sculptural objects that draw on the tradition of architectural follies — artificial structures built for beauty, curiosity and wonder. Crafted through an intuitive, hands-on process, each piece acts as a fragment of an imaginary landscape, shaped by emotion, memory and play. Colours shimmer, forms soften, and function gives way to presence. By placing these objects within everyday contexts, Mónica Pinto Sanz creates quiet disruptions, or spaces where the fantastical can take root. Her sculptures invite reflection and mood over clarity or utility. Rather than offering escape, ‘The Garden’ proposes a gentle resistance to speed and structure, opening space for feeling, slowness, and the possibility of enchantment.
