Paul Cournet (Studio Cloud)

About the lecture  

Paul Cournet goes back to the last four years of work, building his multidisciplinary studio CLOUD in Rotterdam. From building communities more than buildings, to building systems, Paul explores with this lecture what it means to be an architect today. 

Bio 

Paul Cournet is an architect and editor based in Rotterdam. After working at OMA*AMO for over a decade, Paul founded CLOUD in 2022 as a multidisciplinary studio. CLOUD is a practice that focuses on architecture, research and design with a particular interest in the materiality of architecture. Paul is currently also the deputy editor of Capsule the design publication, and the co-curator of Capsule Plaza, the design festival taking place in Milan during Salone Del Mobile.
