DAE Student Initiatives: The Other Field

Returning for the second year, the Other Field is the designated space within the Graduation Show for currently enrolled students to exhibit, research and test their ideas with the visitors of Dutch Design Week. Through an open call, the selected students initiatives are Framework Lab, FUTCH club* and Elevator Radio.

Framework Lab is a platform that invites visitors to become active participants in design, rather than passive observers. Join their participatory installation to collaborate, engage with other visitors and build your own seating objects! 

FUTCH club* is a queer collectivity aiming to establish a worker-owned cooperative space for creatives. You can join these students’ presentations, workshops and discussions as an invitation to look back and forward to chart new directions for their project.

Elevator Radio is an online radio network, run by students from DAE. Find them roaming around GS25 and some external locations - for interviews, activations, music and more.
