About the DAE Master's programme:

DAE's master programme consists out of 5 research departments: Contextual Design, Social Design, Information Design, Geo-Design and the Critical Inquiry Lab. During five online presentations by the department MA Heads, you will get an understanding on each of the programme's aims, structure and teaching community. The departments overlap in their aim for critical dialogue around contemporary challenges, rigorous research, material investigations but differ in their culture and methodological focus. Each department head sets the aim for one of the programme and curates a strong team of tutors to guide the students during their two-year MA study.

The two-year curricula are arranged around research and design assignments, given by the design and workshop tutors, writing and thesis supervisors, and lectures and workshops given by guest lecturers. During the second year, students work on individual research themes, which they have formulated themselves. During the Online Sessions, they will take you along their theme's and topics, research methodologies and curriculum after which there is ample time for any questions you might have.
