Design Academy Eindhoven welcomes a new Supervisory Board member, Imre Tijsse Klasen
As of December 1, the DAE Supervisory Board welcomes a new member: Imre Tijsse Klasen. She has extensive experience in HR and organizational advisory roles at a strategic level in the public sector. Within the HR domain, Imre Tijsse Klasen has a strong focus on leadership development, organizational development, and organizational culture. About her role as a DAE supervisor, she says: "I am looking forward to getting to know the education, the people, and the creative mindset of DAE, and contributing to it with my experience."
The SB is a legally required, independently appointed supervisory body for the Academy. The Supervisory Board appoints the members of the Executive Board (EB), and approves the budget and the annual statement of accounts. In addition, the SB oversees the standards of the Academy’s management and the education it offers. The SB also acts as a sounding board for the EB. The SB members can serve for a maximum of eight years.
